Hillview Court provides Permanent Supportive Housing for those experiencing homelessness or those at risk of experiencing homelessness in Santa Clara County. The community offers a stable environment for residents to live independently and have the opportunity to thrive in their local neighborhood. Once an Extended Stay America in Milpitas, CA, this converted motel has been transformed by Jamboree into studio apartments with onsite services for residents.
Each studio of this fully furnished apartment community comes with a small kitchen and a full, private bath. A welcoming three-story property, Hillview Court is only a short walking distance to public transportation as well as local shops and services, such as a park, grocery store, pharmacy, local library, and medical facilities.
At Hillview Court, residents have onsite access to trained professionals who provide services and support, including case management and life skills education. An activities center, a lounge area, and a large ground-floor community space encourage social interaction for support groups, resident birthdays and holiday celebrations.
Hillview Court’s goal is to provide long-term housing stability so that residents remain active, stable, and thriving in their local neighborhood. Those coming from homelessness and living with a clinical mental health diagnosis from a healthcare provider qualify for Hillview Court through the Santa Clara County Health Care Agency, contingent on credit and background checks. Once residents sign an apartment lease, they may remain in their apartment long-term or as long as they follow community guidelines. To keep the property affordable for years to come, Jamboree will continue to collaborate closely with the city, property management and community service partners.
