La Puente Park – located in La Puente, CA – is a garden-style affordable apartment housing community for low-income families. In 2002, Jamboree acquired and renovated La Puente Park in partnership with FPI Management, a company committed to permanently preserving “at-risk” affordable housing communities which were originally developed under U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) financing and direct rental subsidy programs.
Recently renovated and redesigned to give the community a modern look, La Puente Park has new landscaping, lighting, concrete walks and pathways for accessibility. Amenities such as three community rooms, barbecue areas and outdoor exercise equipment as well as laundry facilities and covered parking make life simpler and more convenient for residents. Each renovated apartment home has new kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops, new windows and flooring, new water heaters and furnaces, and ENERGY STAR appliances.
La Puente Park is ideal for families – a gated entry provides security, a playground offers a place for children to play and Jamboree’s Community Impact Group offers after-school programs such as tutoring to help kids excel in school.
