As Northern California Vice President, Jeree oversees the expansion of Jamboree operations in Northern California. While Jamboree first began to acquire and develop affordable housing in Northern California in the late 1990s, California’s growing need for affordable housing requires a diversity of high-quality affordable housing and services across the state. Her role also includes business and project development, along with engaging strategic relationships with city staff, elected officials, and other public entities. She also manages our Northern California staff.
With deep roots in Northern California, Jeree Glasser-Hedrick has worked in affordable housing at the federal, state, and local levels of government as well as in the private sector. She was appointed by Governor Brown in 2018 to serve as Director of Business Development and Government Affairs at the California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA)
At the same time, she was appointed by former Treasurer John Chiang to serve as a Deputy Treasurer at the State Treasurer’s Office where she oversaw the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC) and the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee (CTCAC), and concurrently served as the Treasurer’s representative on the pension boards of both the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) and California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS). While at the Treasurer’s Office, she served also as Executive Director of the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC).
Jeree was a principal at JLG Consulting and has held multiple positions at the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency. She holds a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of California Los Angeles, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Santa Clara University. In her spare time, she takes advantage of the Northern California outdoors and likes to paddle board, ski, and mountain bike.Guiding principle:
